It’s Starting To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

November 21, 2008 · Leave a Comment

I think this is a beautiful time of year to be in New York City. The Holiday season is just around the corner, and you start to feel that holiday spirit with all the decorations around the city. It’s just beautiful!

Like for example, the Time Warner Plaza in Columbus Circle has snow coming down in the inside. Really pretty! When I walked in the Plaza and I saw it for the first time, I was overwhelmed by its beauty. For reals. The holiday decorations on 5th Ave. are cool too. Also, the Rockefeller Christmas tree is already in place, but it’s all covered up. I took some pics today of some of the decorations on 5th and the Rockefeller Center.

The cold ass weather on the other hand, is just brutal!

You’ve Got Hate Mail!

November 15, 2008 · 2 Comments

So some ignorant posted the following comment in my blog:

Square peg Round hole!
You do not advocate a free society, you want a “permissive” anything goes society. Freedom was never intended to be a trophy for immorality, depravity, perversion etc.

Our constitution was made for a religious people, It is wholly inadaquate to the government of any other…John Adams.

You should move to Canada, France, Spain, Holland or other uber-liberal permissive countries that grant credence to such depraved behaviours and those that practice same.

The nerve of this conservative lunatic! How about the few that are left from your crappy Republican party move the fuck out of the country? The U.S. would be better off. Seriously.

What do you think of all this?

Wednesday’s Prop 8 Protest

November 13, 2008 · 3 Comments

I attended yesterday’s Prop 8 protest in NYC and it was great. There were a lot of people there, I didn’t expect the crowd to be that big! I hear there were around 10,000 people there. Pretty amazing if you ask me. The whole thing was pretty emotional for me, I think I just felt the good energy of everybody there. I also happened to help hold the sign that was in front of the thousands of people that said “GOD LOVES GAY MARRIAGE”. It was pretty fun. The next Prop 8 protest is this Saturday at City Hall. This time is going to be a national protest, and many cities across the U.S. will do the same on Saturday. Can’t wait! We have to show everybody that we are fighting back against H8te. No more Mr. Nice Gay! Lol.

Let’s see if you can find me in these pictures from Wednesday’s protest. A hint: I am by the word ‘GAY’ in all three pics. Also check out the other pics, even Whoopi Goldberg joined the action!

Keith Olberman talks about Prop 8. Very emotional.

This is not about politics, this is not about religion, this is about LOVE.

Drew Barrymore Loves The Gays

November 11, 2008 · Leave a Comment

And we love her back! Here’s a video of a recent Prop 8 protest where she shows her support to the gay community and says NO ON PROP 8!!!

She also says: “People that I love are being affected by this, people who have defined who I am”. I wonder what she means by that. Who knows.

Thank you Drew for your support!

Fuck You You Fucking Homophobes

marriage

So fucking sad. Prop. 8 was voted yes, meaning that it will eliminate the right to same-sex couples to marry in California. Gays in California already had that right, but they took it away, and it’s not fair. When are people going to understand that we gay people should have the same rights as everyone else? You fucking religion junkies piss me the hell off. We were all made equal and are no different from the rest of society. People are just ignorant. That’s what it is.

I am confident that one day we will become more accepted. It is taking too long for that to happen though. They can take our right for marriage, but they can’t take away the love we feel for our partner.

Obama = Hope

Right after I got off work today I made my way to Rockefeller Center aka Election Plaza, to watch the first few states being called. There was so much good energy there. As soon as they started to call states for Obama, people just screamed and were just so happy that Obama was getting closer and closer to being elected president. I saw the faces of some black people around me and they were just so excited. I remember one black girl saying: “This is the most exciting moment of my life”. I got goosebumps when I heard that. Obama kind of represents equality for all. This is an exciting time in the U.S.!

When Obama was the projected winner, I could hear people out my window going crazy, yelling and screaming. I heard helicopters, fireworks, all that. Everyone is just very emotional about this election. I still hear people screaming outside, I also hear cars honking like crazy. People are going so crazy right now that I’ve heard several sirens now, I hope it’s cop sirens rather than ambulance sirens!

I feel good now. This is an exciting time for the country. I do feel change is in the way. Bush should evacuate the White House RIGHT NOW. The whole country can’t wait till he gets the fuck out.

As I was watching Obama’s speech, I got teary eyed. I don’t know why, but I did. Emotional times ya’ll!

Halloween Madness

November 1, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Halloween in New York is CRAZY. This is my first time experiencing the madness, and I think it is also my last. That’s why most locals just stay in, or go to house parties. First of all, since there is a Halloween parade in the Village and Chelsea area, they close several streets, but even after the parade is over they still keep them closed. The traffic is a nightmare, and cabs can’t even get anywhere because of all these streets being closed. They also close few subway stations around there too, so it is almost impossible to get anywhere. But, there is always the option of just walking right? Well, besides the streets and sidewalks being packed with people, the cops are smart enough to close some of the fucking sidewalks as well. It’s like they want to trap us and kill us all. Very stupid and nothing made sense last night. We wanted to get the hell out of there but since we were trapped in the Village area we decided to just stop at a gay bar close by and let go of all the bad energy by getting wasted. Vodka is my best friend, you know?

I bet most people out there last night were bridge and tunnel folks. It was funny how my cab driver got frustrated by the situation since we couldn’t move, and yelled out to someone through the window: “Go back to New Jersey!”. It was hilarious.

During the day you have all these people dressed up in costumes walking around the streets, as well in the subway, and little kids going in to stores to trick-or-treat. We should all dress up on silly costumes all the time. How fun would that be? It’s funny how adults dress up for Halloween too. I think it’s not just a kids only holiday. It’s more an adult holiday now, or at least in New York.

My costume was originally supposed to be a playboy bunny, but it didn’t look quite right on me so I had to change costumes the last minute. I was prince charming for the night. I guess it came out to be ok after all. I got lots of compliments. I took several pictures from last night. One I’m with Obama! Check it out bitches.
