Happy New Year!

December 31, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Do people still make resolutions? I really never took the time to start that tradition. I wonder if it really works. Some people also like to wear red underwear to ring in the New Year. That’s supposed to bring you good luck. I think I might just try that this time, why not. I need luck, lots of it. 2008 is going to be hard, I can sense it. I am not being negative but that’s just what I feel. But I also see at least a couple of trips in ’08 to my two favorite cities. You know what they are? New York and Vegas baby! Hopefully my plans will come reality.

I expect to find a lover as well, or at least a fu*k buddy! Those are good too. But in case I find myself with a boyfriend this year, I won’t have any problems telling my family.

Yeap, this past holiday season I told all the members of my family residing in the St. Louis area that I was a homosexual J.

Apparently I was clueless, because their response was “I knew” when I told them the big news, well what I thought was big news! Everybody knew. I suspected that some of they knew, but I just wanted to tell everybody and just put it out there so I won’t kind of hide my true fucking self. Now I feel much better, and mostly because everybody was cool with it.

2007 was eventful. The big highlight of the year was me living in New York for almost half the year. It was awesome, great experience. Another ’07 highlight was my trip to Vegas with couple of friends, going there to attend a friend’s wedding! I had such a great time there. Those are the two best things that happened to me in ’07. The rest, I want to keep behind.

Let the New Year cum!

Alejandro Chavez

No, I am not talking about me. I found this interesting guy who we share the same name, and if that is not funny enough, he is from my hometown in Mexico as well! which is Zapopan, Jalisco. I know, I was surprised too.

He is a growing artist. His newest project I believe is called “Norte”. To read about Alejandro Chavez and to check out more of his stuff, he has a website: http://www.alejandrochavez.net/

And he even has a Myspace account: http://www.myspace.com/alejandrochavezmx

Happy Holidays

It’s been a little over a month now since I gotten back from NY. I do miss New York but I have to really focus here. I start up school again in January. I’m going to go get my license plates for my car on Monday finally. I also started going to the gym, which is great because I use the sauna and I come out of the gym all fresh, showered, and feeling alive. I also been wanting a little chihuahua puppy. Maybe for Christmas? Hope so.

I am thinking of visiting NY sometime early next year if I have the chance. Who knows what next year will bring my way. I am going to focus in school whether I like it or not. Time flies by. I am going to be 22 next year. I’m getting old! Also, I feel I’m ready for a relationship. I want to find that special someone. I know it sounds cheesy, but I want someone to care for me, someone to share special moments with, and I want someone to love me. I really do hope I find “Mr. Right” soon.

That is another issue of mine. I want to be liberated and not hide my real emotions. I want to let my family know that I’m gay. I think most of them know, but we never talk about it. I don’t want it to be a “secret” anymore. I want to feel comfortable bringing my boyfriend home to hang out and not feel embarrassed or anything like that due to the fact that I like boys and not girls. I think that time has come and I’m just waiting for the right time to show my family my true self. I can’t wait till I say the words “I’m gay” to my family. I am going to feel weight lifted out of my shoulders.

But enough about that stuff. I want to wish everyone happy holidays. Have fun & party it up!
